How It Works
The Studio Process: Bespoke Animal Sculpture
Turning the unique spirit of your best friend into a custom work of art is our specialty. We combine digital sculpting with meticulous hand-painting to create a one-of-a-kind piece you'll treasure forever.
Due to the intensive manual labor and studio time required to achieve our signature finishes, all custom artwork—from 6-inch desktop miniatures to life-size monuments—is created exclusively through our commission process.
Step 1: Secure Your Studio Slot Because we only accept a limited number of commissions at a time, your journey begins by securing your spot in our studio queue. Simply purchase the Commission Deposit for your desired scale (Desktop Miniature or Life-Size Monument) to initiate the creation process.
Step 2: The Consultation & Vision Once your deposit is placed, we will reach out directly via email. This is where we collaborate on the details: confirming the specific breed, pose, and your preferred art style (such as Hyper-Realistic, Memorial, or Artistic Faux-Concrete). We will also provide a secure link to upload your reference photos.
Step 3: Collaborative Production This is where the magic happens in our Bay Area studio.
- Digital Prep: We prepare the 3D files and begin the multi-day printing process.
- Hand-Finishing: The canvas is meticulously sanded, primed, and prepared for paint.
- Work in Progress (WIP): You will receive photos during the painting phase for your feedback, ensuring the likeness and details are just right.
Step 4: Final Approval & Delivery Once you approve the final WIP photos, we seal your sculpture with a professional-grade protective varnish. We then invoice the final balance and carefully package your masterpiece for fully insured shipping or local Bay Area delivery.
A Quick Guide to the Perfect Photos
The soul of your custom model comes from the photos you provide. The better your photos, the more personality and detail our artists can capture in their painting.
- Use Good, Natural Light: Take photos outside on a bright, overcast day or in a well-lit room. Avoid harsh shadows and dark settings.
- Get on Their Level: The best photos are taken at your pet's eye level, not from above.
- Show Us Everything: For the most accurate painting, we need clear shots of your pet from all angles: Front (face and chest), Left Side, Right Side, and Back.
- Highlight What's Unique: Be sure to include photos that clearly show special markings, eye color, and their typical expression.
