About Us

Our Origin: The Scale of Devotion

It began with a singular realization: a digital image is a fleeting shadow, but a monument is a physical presence.

Founder Mark Dorado launched 3D Warren five years ago in the San Francisco Bay Area with a definitive goal—to bridge the gap between high-resolution technology and the soulful reality of our companions. The first successful master-sculpt wasn't a desk-side trinket; it was a two-foot-tall architectural tribute to his dog, Dahlia.

That moment redefined the studio's trajectory. We realized that to truly honor the weight of a lifelong bond, the art had to match that magnitude.

3D Warren was born from a refusal to compromise on scale.

2. The 3D Warren Difference: Our Core Pillars

Where Technical Precision Meets Human Artistry.

I. Bespoke Pigment Application

We do not simply "paint" models; we execute hand-layered pigment studies. Each commission begins with an architectural selection from our Archive, which is then transformed through 8–20 hours of manual labor. Our artists use your high-resolution reference imagery to map unique markings, textures, and the "living" depth of your companion’s coat.

II. The Bay Area Collective

Our studio is a platform for elite local talent. We partner with specialized San Francisco Bay Area artists who treat each sculpture as a fine-art canvas. By merging 3D structural engineering with traditional brushwork, we produce 1-of-1 artifacts that are physically incapable of being mass-produced.

III. Unrivaled Monumental Scale

We believe the significance of a bond deserves a grander presence. While the industry standard favors miniatures, 3D Warren focuses on Life-Size Monuments. Our baseline entry points often exceed the "premium" sizes of our competitors, ensuring that every piece carries a commanding physical weight in any space it inhabits.

3. Meet the Founder

Mark Dorado | Founder & Studio Lead

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mark is a lifelong creator dedicated to the intersection of structural technology and biological form. Alongside his lead quality inspector, Dahlia, Mark oversees every stage of production—from the initial 3D mesh refinement to the final archival top-coat.

"At 3D Warren, we aren't just 3D printing, we are creating physical legacies. Nothing is more rewarding than handing a client a monument that carries the true presence of their best friend."

The Studio Promise: Transparency in Craft

We recognize the profound emotional weight behind every commission. To honor that trust, 3D Warren operates on a High-Touch Production Model. You are integrated into the journey:

  • Digital Calibration: Finalizing the breed silhouette and pose.
  • Structural Production: The multi-day high-density printing process.
  • Pigment Updates: Receiving "Work in Progress" (WIP) imagery during the manual painting stage.
  • Archival Finishing: Final inspection and professional-grade matte sealing.
